Input from business trip to India

We are back from our India trip and have visited the SEA Global Castor Conference 2025, met the two Sustainable Organizations and several of our Indian partners. 

This year (for the first time) it was discussed about the excess capacity and competition in India. There are about 60 Castor oil producers in India. In the past only a handful big producers were visible but in times of internet and with the change of generations in India also medium and smaller sized oil mills are now exporting directly from India. Some of the oils mills are new  - partly former seed traders which started new activities...
