Castor Market Report June 2026

Start of new season

The harvest of Castor is over and the monsoon start is near. It has not yet touched the South of India, but is expected in the coming hours. It is quite amazing that it is starting always around the 1st of June. It will take about 10 days to reach Mumbai and then further 7 – 10 days to reach Gujarat. It is also the end of the heat wave period of the last two months.

This time it is forecasted, that we will see a monsoon with below average rainfalls. Further it is expected that there might be interruptions and delays in rainfalls.
