End Monsoon and sowing status
On the 30th of September the end of the Southwest Monsoon was declared officially. India has received about 75% of its yearly rainfall in this period. Kharif sowing are nearly completed and harvest of traditional kharif crops will continue in October and November. Castor is sown in this period but harvesting normally starts earliest in December and goes on until May with several manual rounds of pickings in India...
