1. Castor Oil

Green Legislation: EUDR and Beyond

Set to apply from 30th of December 2025 onward, this regulation aims to eliminate raw materials from global supply chains that are linked to deforestation or illegal land use. It will affect multiple commodity groups, including Soy, Palm, rubber, and Timberwood, and will require:
- proof of legal and sustainable sourcing
- full supply chain traceability
- geo-location data for source crops
- strong documentation and audit processes
While products like Castor oil, Cardanol and Glycerin are not listed under the EUDR, the regulation reinforces the industry's broader move toward transparency and sustainable sourcing.
