Strengthening the Castor International Team: Focus on Logistics and Commercial Impact

Body

At Castor International, we continue to build a future-ready organization. As our global operations become increasingly complex, investing in a strong internal foundation is more essential than ever. In this context, we are pleased to welcome three new team members: one joining our logistics operations and two reinforcing our commercial team.

Enhancing Our Supply Chain: Welcome Maikel Scheepers

As of April 15, 2025, Maikel Scheepers has joined Castor International as Logistics Coordinator. In this role, he oversees our end-to-end international logistics chain—from point of origin to final destination.

With over ten years of experience in logistics, Maikel brings not only deep industry knowledge but also a proactive mindset that fits seamlessly with our dynamic, international work environment. His arrival will allow us to further optimize the reliability, efficiency, and speed of our global deliveries.

We would like to thank Ceres and, in particular, Marie Teeuwen for their valuable support in finding the right candidate.

Expanding Our Commercial Team: Two New Junior Traders

On March 3, Doğan Başoğlu and Bram van Gestel joined Castor International as Junior Traders. Each brings a unique background and experience, further strengthening our commercial capabilities across various industries.

Doğan Başoğlu – Focus on Personal Care & Cleaning

Originally from Turkey, Doğan moved to the Netherlands in 2017. After earning his Bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics in Istanbul, he completed an exchange program at Maastricht University, where he chose to pursue further studies in Biomedical Sciences and ultimately settled in the Netherlands.

Professionally, Doğan gained experience at Univar, working in raw material distribution. At Castor International, he supports Arthur De Raad, with a focus on the cosmetics (personal care) and industrial cleaning sectors.

Bram van Gestel – Active in the Food Industry

Bram studied Hospitality Management (MBO) before completing a degree in Commercial Economics. He previously worked at Naturz Organic in Helmond and also gained experience at Driessen Group. A long-standing partner of Castor International.

Bram now works closely with Marc Junger, focusing on clients and opportunities in the food industry.

Looking Ahead: Growth Aligned with Our Vision

The addition of Maikel, Doğan, and Bram marks another step in the ongoing professionalization of our organization. By investing in talent with both specialized expertise and a strong cultural fit, we strengthen our position as a reliable global supplier of sustainable raw materials.

We warmly welcome our new colleagues and look forward to a successful collaboration.
