Castor Market Report May 2022

The last month of the Castor harvest in India has started. Seasonally with begin of the monsoon period in India the harvest will be over. The plants will be cut down and the ground prepared for new planting. What will be planted next, will be decided depending on market prices of other crops and of course depending on the amount of rainfall. The Indian Meteorological Department and Skymet forecast a normal monsoon in 2022.
