What’s happening post monsoon?

We are now in the post monsoon period. The Indian Vikram Samvat calendar shows us after Diwali the year 2082. For the farmers already a new season has started - the Rabi crop. On those fields where quick maturing crops are already harvested after the monsoon, they now start to plant the next crop. This Rabi crop sowing is going on until December. Harvesting will be done April to June next year. Typical crops are Wheat, Barley, Gram, Peas and Mustard/Rapeseed...
