Cashew nutshell liquid is a phenolic liquid is a byproduct of cashew nut processing. It is a renewable, sustainable raw material contributing reducing the CO2 emissions and replacing non renewable raw materials. This product contributes to improved flexibility, good drying after banking, high electricinsulation properties and thermal stability. Cashew nutshell liquid resins has a good resistance to softening action of mineral oil and high resistance to acids alkalies, antimicrobial property termite and insect resistance. It is a natural substitute for petroleum based phenol.
