Castor Market Report April 2024

In March we have again not seen a relief on the Castor oil market price. Basic reason was a higher demand for the export of Castor oil from India. Several vessels were loaded for the US and Europe. Normally only a temporary issue for a few days, but some bigger producers were also speculating on falling prices in March and did not cover on time, but shortly before arrival of the vessels.
