Castor Market Report February 2024

It seems that what is going on in India is of less importance than what is happening on the way between Europe and India. Factories in India are working, seeds are available and the amount of new seeds (the daily arrivals) are increasing. We have seen between 50.000 – 80.000 bags of seeds per day, which are excellent volumes for the period of the year. The trend for market prices in India is therefore down. The futures for February and March are traded with a discount, so there is a positive trend on the origin market in India.
