Castor Market Report September 2023

The Southwest monsoon is still ongoing until end of September. August has been a period with hardly any rainfall in Gujarat, which is rather unusual. A week without rain is always possible or two but 4 weeks after each other is quite unusual. For those farmers working with irrigated fields no problem as the reservoirs are filled due to good rainfalls in June and July. For those farmers which do have rainfed fields only, it is getting a real problem as it was much too dry...
