Introducing Sales Manager Marc Junger
On August 1, Marc Junger joins Castor International as Sales Manager. In this role Marc will focusing on the Food and Feed industries in the first place and build our client portfolio. We asked Marc to introduce himself.
‘For the past 20 years, I have been working in the chemical industry’, Marc explains. ‘As a Sales Manager I have worked at Heijbroek (Caldic), Aceto and Van Eeghen (food chemicals distributor). In my last role as Sales Manager Export at BAX Chemicals, I was responsible for purchase and sales of chemicals to multiple industries for existing and new clients in developed markets and new business development in EMEA. My former colleagues describe me as a problem solving, opportunity-minded and commercially driven Sales Manager who is people orientated.
‘When the opportunity to join Castor International arose, I was excited to continue my career at a large professional company that provides integrated solutions. When visiting Castor International and Driessen United Blenders in Deurne I was impressed by the plant that takes care of all customer demands under one roof. Providing the full process of blending, mixing, packing and shipping, sets Castor International apart from other distributors and trading organisations. Furthermore the Food and Feed industries are increasingly demanding. Quality by certified processes is becoming more and more important. Holding the required certifications, registrations and accreditations will help me in my role to offer maximum assurances with respect to quality for existing and new clients.
‘Born in Amsterdam, now living in Hoorn, I will be working primarily from home. This is where I live with my fiancé Tina Marije and sons Ruben (19 years old) and Leon (14 years old). In my free time I enjoy running, biking, music and art. I look forward to start my new role at Castor International and meet you all soon!’
